Buying whole chickens is one of the best ways to stretch your dollar. We’ll even cut it up however you’d like. Cook what you need and save the rest. Leftover thighs, breasts or wings can be bagged up, thrown in the freezer, or saved for a meal later in the week. Don’t forget the bones! Save them for a rainy day (the freezer works well here too) and pull them out to make homemade stock. It’s a game changer!
