THE VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
Booker T. Washington Community Service Center (BTWCSC) is a Black-led community-based organization nourishing San Francisco's historic Fillmore and Western Addition community for over 103 years. They offer a full spectrum of culturally-responsive programs to address the holistic needs of youth, teen/TAY, families, seniors, and the community at-large.
The BTWCSC’s Food Justice program provides weekly, free, culturally-appropriate food services to the community from a Black lens.
Operating three different food programs, there are a variety of weekly volunteers shifts needed.
During your shift you may help receive palates of groceries, setup grocery stations throughout the pantry, check-in guests, hand groceries to guests, or break things down.
