THE VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
Larkin Street Youth Services (LSYS) works to end homelessness for young people in San Francisco by providing wrap-around services. They operate a variety of programs that rely on volunteer help.
Lunch Service: Monday, Wednesday, Friday. You’ll help prepare and serve a meal to youth utilizing LS’s drop-in center. The kitchen can accommodate 5 volunteers each day.
Kit Building: You’ll help assemble harm reduction supply kits for youth. These are assembled on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at various times. Individuals and groups welcome.

What to expect for kitchen work | The kitchen works between 10am-1pm to make and serve lunch
You’ll be helping with food prep for lunch service, so dress appropriately |
What to expect for kit work | Harm reduction kits are assembled throughout the week at varying times
The more volunteers the faster the kits are built |
